The default directory <WinNT_root>\System32\Dhcp was not present before
Microsoft DHCP Server service was installed. The Microsoft DHCP Server
service
installation process will not check for this directory, nor create it if
it
is
missing.
RESOLUTION
==========
To work around this problem, perform the following steps:
1. Uninstall the Microsoft DHCP Server service from the Networks tool in
Control
Panel.
2. Manually create the <WinNT_root>\System32\Dhcp folder.
3. Reinstall Microsoft DHCP Server service from the Networks tool in
Control
Panel.
4. Restart Windows NT Server.

One of our customer is complaining about two errors that appears in the
System error log on a daily basis on a newly prepared server.

Description:
The DHCP server encountered the following error when backing up the user
database:

Type: Error
Description:
The JET Database call returned the following Error : -1018.
Windows NT 4 + SP6 was installed few days ago, SQL Server 6.5+SP5 is the
only additional product installed, system partition is plenty of hard
disk space.
What should I do ?
