Hello,

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Direct-Access Product Support for Value
Added
Providers (VAP). My name is James and I will be helping to assist you.

The first question that I have is about you're cable modem, is
it a
connection to the Internet only through cable or do you use the modem in

conjunction with the cable? It looks like everything is configured
properly
you should have a home (internal, and a shared, connected to the
internet)
although it would probably be better to install ICS from within add
remove
programs/Windows setup. Any programs, on this machine, which change the
TCP/IP stack in any way we should uninstall as the existence of such an
application or program would result in mismatched files including custom

software from a cable company. It is probable that an application
loading
into memory would cause ICS not to function properly if you have any
antivirus software installed we might look at uninstalling the software
and
uninstalling ICS and reinstalling ICS while the machine is clean booted;
we
can successfully clean boot Windows 98 buy simply going to start to run
and
typing Msconfig, checking selective startup and unchecking all of the
corresponding boxes which it generates, hitting ok and rebooting.
Best Regards,
