This sounds like an end user PC left logged on with some automated program
or stupid add banner or similiar. I'd check your system logs for users
remaining logged in or similiar. Turn on verbose logging and get the IP
address of the source machine and then track down the physical machine.

Our internet access is via MS Proxy Server through a ISDN router. Lately we
have been getting huge phone bills. Look at the itemised bill it shows the
ISDN line is constantly up and down all day and night. I can understand the
line up during the day but all throughout the night, every 2 or 3 minutes
when there is nobody working in the company or remotely connected just don't
make sense to me. Looking at the Proxy logs its shows some machine
throughout the night has been accessing web sites although nobody has been
in the building!!!. Does anyone knows what is going on? do we have a problem
with the proxy or why is this so?
Thanks
Al
