Now, when I run small sized reports, there is no problem. But when I run
larger reports, after a few minutes of waiting, I am only given a "PROXY
REPORTS:" message in the browser where the report would normally display.
To further test what the problem is, I ran the report from the Proxy Server
itself, and also at a different time from another machine that accesses the
internet with a dial-up connection, and there was no problem in generating
the large report. Two of my clients, who also use MS proxy server, are
encountering the exact same results as me: there is no error message, per
se, only the message "PROXY REPORTS:" displayed on the screen.
My only thought is that, since the smaller reports are created fine, that
there must be some sort of proxy timeout, or limit to the amount of data
that can be transmitted. I looked in the IIS Web Proxy properties, but I
have had no luck. Please let me know if you have ever encountered this
problem and/or if you have any suggestions on how to remedy it.
Thanks,
John
