Todd,
Do you get the same error if you try to connect to the server using IP
address?
Do you receive any error when you connect to the server from the Proxy
server itself?
Are you getting any errors in the event viewer on either server?
Have you enable Basic authentication and disable Windows NT
Challenge/Response authentication at the default Web site on the proxy
server?
