Hi ,

When you are using the .OST you won't be able to archive your items.
When
you use the .OST's it modifys the date for each message when it
synchronizes with the Exchange server. The archiving of items in the
mailbox depends on the last modified date. If the users are
synchronizing
the .OST, this means that the messages will never reach the archival
date.

Hi everybody,

I've configured my Exchange Server for a corporate use and my OL2000 clients
are all configured with the following services: Exchange Server (with the
offline mode), Outlook Contacts and Internet mail. There are no storage
limits on the Private Information Store.
The problem is: whenever I try to archive something on the client, the
process begins, goes on and ends in few seconds but it doesn't archive
anything!
How can it be possible and what can I do to put on a remedy?

Thank you in advance for any help

Hi Riccardo,

You always have the option of manually archiving. Selecting File then
Archive preforms this function.

I hope that helps!

Thanks

Ok, but what happens when the user reach the limits of the Private
Information Store: do I have to delete the oldest messages or is there a
way
to archive them?

Thank you once again for your support
