I'm not certain I understand your question. From the client, do you see
the option to Recover Deleted Items on the Tools menu when you navigate
to
the Deleted Items folder (It is disabled when the current folder is the
Inbox)? If you do see it, is it enabled? If you don't see it, what
version of Outlook are you using?

on my Exchange Server I've configured the Private Information Store to keep
the deleted items for 30 days. No particular settings on the single
mailboxes.
Why all my clients show as unable the tools menu option "recover deleted
items"?
