Tax exports from Microsoft Money

I thought I'd call attention to an article I wrote 6 years ago during this tax season, that specifically addresses retirement income (Money out-of-the-box handles wage income pretty well).  See https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2020/03/27/retirement-tracking/

You can assign individual Retirement tax categories, and selecting amongst

♦  1099R: Pension taxable distribution or
♦  1099R: Pension non-taxable distribution or
♦  IRA taxable distribution or
♦  Roth IRA distribution (Qualified)

for each, along with the designated copy #.  This will all carry forward in your Tax Software Report, as well as your tax data exports to your desktop tax software.

If you set up all of your categories in this manner, Money will actually create individual 1099-R, 1099-DIV and 1099-INT import files for your tax  software!
