Hi All

I have been a Money user for decades, and I know a lot about some features and little about others. One thing that I have never been able to work out is whether it is possible to remove the "E" matched transaction indicator (see first attached image) that arises during the matching process with downloaded statements. The trouble is, this indicator appears to be persistent if you copy and paste a previously matched transaction as a more efficient way to enter a new transaction, so the population of them grows over time. Why is this a problem? Well, when you reconcile an account, these transaction are automatically cleared, often leading to erroneously cleared transactions that need to be found and uncleared so that the balance can be obtained (see second attached image). Frustratingly this manual intervention somewhat defeats the purpose of the matching and automatic clearance process.

Cheers

H

No, there isn't.  Best to setup those transactions as a reoccurring bill, if there is any regular frequency.

Agreed.  The work-around is to "make recurring" (CTRL+E) with a frequency of "only once".
You can then go to your Bills Summary and "Enter in Register"

Thanks for the responses. These are not reoccurring transactions in any sense, but I just use copy and paste just as an effort  saver. I'll consider if that really saves me effort, given it adds effort to the reconciliation process.
