Hi,

I recently purchased a mini-PC to use as my everyday computer.

Currently, my Money programs and files are on a DELL laptop, namely Microsoft Money + Deluxe Version 17.0 120.3817 Copyright Microsoft Corporation.

In readiness to transfer my Ms Money file onto the mini-PC, I have downloaded the Microsoft Money Deluxe, Version 14.0 120.11105 Copyright 2004 Microsoft.

However, when I try to open my MS money file on the mini-PC it doesn’t recognize the password.

1.      Can you guide me through downloading the best MS Money version I should be using?  I live in Australia; and

2.      Could you also advise me how I can use my existing Money file on the new Mini-PC, or do I have to completely start again with a blank Money file?

PS:  I love your work.

You are currently using Sunset Deluxe, and I advise installing the same on your new PC (not ver 14).  The password should then work as expected.  Download and install tips can be found at https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2010/05/09/intro/
