I am trying to rebuild my .MNY file following a programme crash and having had no luck on repairing the file using the salv.exe route. I do have an old backup that is fine but missing about 5 years of historical share price data. Is there anyway to import this into MS Money as i do have it in excel.
Many thanks and regards

It appears that you are using a UK version of Money. In order to reinstall Money 2005 UK, you need an updated version of the installation file. You cannot reinstall from the original CD. Money 2005 got an update, and upgraded your Money file, making it incompatible with the old CD version.

To get the updated installation file go to:

If you have csv files, this might help.

I am using it and it has been a blessing.
