Money Sunset Version 17 (US) Slow Opening to Run

Hi Everyone:

I am new to this group, but have been using MS Money for many years on windows 10 desktop.  

I am having a serious delay (approximately 25 minutes) before MNY Sunset finally opens and seems to run normally then. 

Background:
I have a DELL XPS8960 machine that is now running again with Windows11 Pro.  I had to do a DELL Factory Reset last month to get to where I am now. (Windows11 Pro was not loading; thus, needed to do the Factory Reset.)

When I try to run Mony Sunset, it takes about 25 minutes before I am able to use the program.  Task Manager shows 3% CPU usage and there is a lot of Windows Defender Antiviurs activity with the CPU also, while the hour galss delay occurs. 

Has anyone here had similiar exxerience with a Money Sunset delayed opening?  

Please advise.

25 minutes is extreme, and I have not heard of anything like that.

To speed opening, there are Windows firewall settings suggested to keep Money from trying to fetch from servers that no longer exist.

Also make sure you have installed the patched mnyob99.dll
