I just bought a new computer and the technician can't get my Microsoft Money to work because it keeps asking for a Password. I never had a password as far I remember. I have tried everything! Also on my old computer I have tried in the settings to set a new password and it when I try that on the new computer it still doesn't work. Can someone please advise? \

Usually this is because you used an old Money 2005 disk, which may just say Microsoft Money copyright 2004. You can discard that disk. Instead get the proper installation file to install Money.
Odds are that you are not in North America.

I'm in Austin Texas. OK I will tell the technician that has been trying to help me. Wish me luck. Just to be clear what is the proper installation file called?
