exchange rates

I use CDN as base currency but sometimes need to look up previous exchange rates for USD, GBP, EUR. 
Has anyone found a way to create a security in MSMoney that would record the exchange rates?
Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the suggestions. But i'm trying to get away from that approach to getting exch rates.
I'm looking for a ticker that i can use which will populate each time i connect my mny file to the internet.

Dan Gaier’s excellent MSMoneyQuotes solution downloads exchange rates straight into Money.

I think Tom wants to record historical exchange rates in Money not just update the current rate

You used to be able to do this but I don't think MoneyQuotes can do this any more - for example the EURO/GBP rate is available in MSN Money with the code "av92z2" but MoneyQuotes can't import it

Oops - yes it can

I setup an investments with a type of Other and code US:EURGBP  and MoneyQuotes retrieved the exchange rate

Coming back to this topic of downloading and saving exchange rates in a similar way to stocks, i followed Joe's suggestion below and i could only get one exchange rate of the 3 i was looking for.

For 10 days i got rates with this ticker CADUSD. i set it up as a security and chose the OTHER category of security.

Since it stopped working a week ago. I tried these two fixes:

1. Update prices and pick quotes to download, to ensure the ticker was selected

2. Check symbolmap.csv in Notepad and checked the ticker and its ID using Gaier's website

The USDCAD ticker never pulled up any rates.

CA:CADUSD,av3wnm

CA:USDCAD,avylur 
Using MSMoneyQuotes.exe -c -m
 
Any suggestion ?

Change the country to United States works for me
US:USDCAD 1.441
US:CADUSD 0.694

Many thanks Joe. 
The other one i wanted was GBP to CAD but couldn't seem to get that one to work. 
Any suggestestion.

The symbols US:GBPCAD and US:CADGBP work perfectly well for me

It worked here Joe. Will have to report back if it stops updating. The USD-CAD pair stopped after about 10 days but I input the pair again under a new identifier and it worked. Thanks
