I have come across an issue using the Sunset Deluxe version. This has never happened since I have been using MSMoney since the beginning. I go to balance the account, everything reconciles but clicking on "Next" produces nothing. If I un-reconcile an item and hit next, it notifies me of not balanced, I select auto, it reconciles that item and then clicking "Next" doesn't do anything.

Anyone ever see this?

I forgot to mention I have run the DB through all the repairs with no issues.

All 3 kinds of repairs-- quick, standard level 1 and standard level 2? Do another quick too.

Also confirm that you have rebooted your computer. Confirm that you have applied the patched version of mnyob99.dll for Money Plus Sunset Deluxe. See https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/d28d6921-1f01-430f-b33e-f5a3ec47077b/important-patch-for-money-plus-maybe-20062007-mnyob99dll?forum=money

If all of that is taken care of, I have another procedure for you.

Yes, I have completed all of those suggestions.

See if this helps:
If you wish to start fresh and declare an account balanced, you can
mark all entries balanced.  Select to show only unreconciled
transactions.  Sort by date, and go to the oldest transaction.
Hold down Cntl+Shift+M and let auto-repeat work thru the
transactions until none are left showing.  Do not change the
starting date or starting balance.  The starting balance is the sum
of the transactions that have already been marked as reconciled.
Then balance making the ending balance match the known balance.
Choose the balance date to be the day after your last transaction.
This is not the normal procedure.  It starts you with an amnesty
for former balancing.

Thereafter, follow the normal procedure.

Still no luck. I have determined another issue thay may be the root cause?
I have entered one of the transactions as a "special" transfer from one of the other accounts in the file.
I am unable to edit, delete, reconcile, etc. either entry in both accounts.
I can open the edit dialog and change items but it will not save the changes.
Clicking the delete button does nothing as when I click the "next" button in balance.
Very very odd.

I know this is slightly off topics but in case this might be useful.

TurboTax allows download tax data from brokerage but it put a really stupid restriction that you cannot paste the password to the login screen.  This is such an asinine decision that does not help with security. In fact it will make it worse by encouraging users to temporarily change the brokerage password to something simpler to type.

I've put up with it for a few years now but I can't anymore. This year wealthfront requires an auto-generated app-only password that is 32 characters long and I just can't type all that without making mistakes (worse yet, the password field in TT is masked '***' so there is no way to figure out which character is wrong.

I wrote a tool to work-around that, you can get more information here: https://github.com/hleofxquotes/entertext/wiki

Can you Void the transfer transactions?

If you have done the repairs, and no joy, you might consider QIF export from your new file and import into a new file. You will lose some info, but you will have a clean file.

The repairs reported no broken records. You have the patched mnyob99.dll in place.

QIF export and import is the tool that you have available you have not already done. The second post on  Forgot Password - Logged in, but how can I change it? (microsoft.com)  describes the procedure.

As long as you use a unique for your new file, the new and the existing file can coexist.

I had to do a QIF export and then new file. Odd thing in all the years but thanks for the help!

I added some notes on the current situation with OFX downloading at USAA (change in URL's, userName/password, CLIENTUID ...)

Also, a pointer to a tool to convert CSV to OFX. If you have an account with USAA and are OK with just manually downloading the CSV files for now.

I just worked with a user with USAA accounts and were able to get hleofxquotes to download OFX files for both checking and credit cards accounts.

There are some gotcha's. I will update the wiki page later today.
