Hello Fellow MS Money Users!

I am being forced to update from my Win 10 into Win11 Pro 64-Bit due to Intuit requirements for the upcoming TurboTax release. I am running MS Money Deluxe Version 14.0.120.1105 which runs perfectly now on Win 10. What will I have to modify to keep it running on the Win 11 program? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. I have been using Money for almost 20 years and still haven't found a comparable program!

If you update the same computer to W11 from W10, I expect no new Money 2005 problem.

If you are installing onto a clean W11 install, you will need to get the installation file rather than using the old CD.

Thank you to both Cal and Stephen for your insights into my transition to Win 11. The Win 11 package should show up this week and I shall try the update on a spare computer first which also has Money on it. I'll post the results here. Thanks again guys!

Hey guys, Finally, success (BUT in a round about way)!
I received the Win 11 install package but it gave me an error message saying that my computer was "unsupported" because it was lacking TPM and a couple other files. Oh Well, here we go.....
So I ended up on YouTube and found a method to get around Microsoft's BS.

This has all the steps needed to get around the missing files AND it likes MONEY and Intuit TURBOTAX. Everything works as it should!
I still am keeping the Windows updates blocked until after tax season....just in case. I don't want any surprises later in the game....LOL

Again, MANY thanks for the help! I truly hope that the team at MS who decided to drop MONEY got fired. MS missed the boat on that one!

You just need to run setup.exe /product server. I turn off the internet (or airplane mode) an decline updates for the update. Works every time on 'unsupported' PCs.

Ha!  It looks like I already had watched part of this video (although I don't recall it), but thanks for the link and the reminder that it's out there.  I bought a new PC last fall and gave my very old i7 to my wife, and then bought her a new one last month rather than extend the Win10 support, but rather than dumping that old PC I'm going to give this a shot because even if it bricks or otherwise bombs there is no harm done.
