to Microsoft Money
You put in your subject that this was Microsoft Windows, but it is not. You are using Ubuntu Linux. I suggest you clarify when you make a title that is related to using Linux, so as to not confuse people who use Microsoft Money the normal way -- on Windows.

Thank-you for putting the script together. The installation went smoothly and I was able to run Microsoft Money.
I have one major "crash" issue, which I will report in a separate thread.

There were a few minor issues that I have not seen reported, and don't appear to be in the documentation.

Two Small Graphical Glitches
a) In an account only the top half of the "Payee" and "Category" fields were visible when entering data. The "Memo" field worked as expected. Once the transaction had been entered into the account the two fields displayed correctly. All the fields in the "Bill setup" form worked as expected. In the "Accounts" section entries for "Payees" and "Categories" also displayed correctly. I was able to create a new, and edit an existing, "bill series".

b) In a "Net Worth" report, if the amounts were 7 digits, the amounts were truncated on the right hand side. However, if the "Customise..." option was used, to say change the date, the amounts were then correctly displayed from then on. Even on re-opening the file.

Starting msmoney using msmoney icon in launcher
My mistake, but something that I believe has the potental to trip others up.

I used "pin to dash" on a running MSMoney program. When I then tried to start the program later using the MSMoney icon that was pinned to the dash, MSMoney failed to start. Various error windows appeared.
I hadn't appreciated that using the "applications" section (the type in and search on desktop) to start MSMoney (which showed the MSMoney icon) runs a shell script, which is different to the "program" behind the MSMoney icon that appears in the dash when the MSMoney program itself is running, as the latter is launched by the first script. Hence, if you "pin to dash" the running MSMoney icon in the dash itself, the pinned icon cannot be used to start MSMoney.

You can "pin to dash" the MSMoney starting script program, which uses the MSMoney icon. However, when the actual MSMoney program starts you get a second identical MSMoney icon appearing in the dash.

I appreciate you could modify the icons used etc, it is just more of the case that people should be aware of this.
