I went to add a reinvest dividend transaction. The Investment Type is Money Market. The following message appeared: "This transaction cannot be entered."
At first I thought the Investment Type did not allow to reinvest dividend.
But I checked and have dripped other dividends to that investment.
The investment will take the transaction as straight dividend.
I'd be grateful to hear if anyone has a solution to such a problem.

Oops, I spoke too soon.
A quick repair solved the problem.

Glad to hear that. This scare could be a good reminder to review your backup procedures.

Hello Tom,

I experienced exactly the same problem. I suspect W10 update creating this problem...

Christi: Do you have a patched mnyob99.dll file? If you don't know about this?
https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2012/12/02/windows-8-64-bit-version-compatibility-with-sunset-money/ is one of the places to help you find information on the  mnyob99.dll bug and fix.

So glad to hear...that would totally be my nightmare as well, to lose access to MSM data.  I use it for home and business, it would be a nightmare.  In the past I got that error, which in the older pre-sunset versions it was from the file size getting to large, once I archived one or two oldest years out of the file it was fine.  So I'm wondering in the sunset version how large can the file be before you have to archive.  My current file is from 2015 on.
