I Use UK Sunset edition. Date format is set to dd/mm/yyyy and appears that way in the various registers I use, and in reports (until today/recently).

Now though, when I choose Custom Date (UK tax year) and enter dates in the From and To boxes of the Date tab in Report Customisation, they're interpreted as mm/dd/yyyy.

Does anyone know
a) why this has suddenly started happening
b) where there may be a setting I can change to fix this?

TIA

Neil

I've just found that this happens if I type the dates manually - if I use the calendar date selector dialog, it works as it should.

Date settings are associated with regional settings in the OS, if using Linux it also applies.

Make sure that both the "Short date" and Long date" are the way you want them in Windows settings.

Also, search for "Changing Date and Time Format in Windows 11".   This could be a system setting issue.
