Hi Tyler,
Yeah this looks like the same glitch that someone posted previously. The short answer is: If you click on the box for Show transaction forms, they will look better. I’m aware of this glitch as well as the Accounts list page with the Subtotals misaligned, and these pretty much affect everyone on Linux and MacOS.
Unrelated to this problem, but I used to use a native comctl32.dll from WinXP to fix the Account page Subtotals graphical glitch. As Wine progressed to Wine 11, WinXP comctl32.dll made Money less stable when exiting. Wine is a bit of a moving target because of active development, and Money is pretty old so I anticipate we will see minor glitches from time to time.
It’s a good try to install Microsoft fonts, I wish it was that simple :) Tahoma is already installed as part of the script. You can verify this by going into Money, Reports, customizing the report, and selecting fonts; Tahoma should be in the list.
Thanks for mentioning Resolute, I have a new Install.sh I’m going to upload when I have some time to do a final QC of the script. Resolute and Questing are included; Questing, Resolute, and Debian 14 don’t have 32-bit library support from WineHQ so that will also be covered.
I’ve been testing wine-devel instead of wine-stable over the last few weeks and I wanted to run it for a while before uploading the new script. It won’t fix the input fields but Money has been more reliable/stable for me, especially when exiting Money. The process of switching from wine-stable to wine-devel could be *messy*, especially during the process of removing 32-bit library support if it’s already installed. I want to make sure I feel good about making this switch first. I’ll probably upload an interim updated msmoneysetup / Install.sh but keep it on wine-stable for the time being.
