i just found a quick way to see stock price history while the portfolio manager is open. 
all i had to do was double click on the line of the stock and the past year history plot appeared. if i click on the stock name it doesn't work. must click somewhere in the numerical data section.

Double-clicking the data gives me the same as right-clicking, and selecting  History from the list. Hovering over a spot on the graph shows info.

To see the prices for beyond a year,  or to see splits, in the left  column click UpdatePrices->UpdatePricesManually.
Scroll through the list. You can also delete entries if appropriate.

Good tip! Works on UK version of MS Money 2005. It's only taken me 21 years to discover this!

Well, one day we will wake up to someone having used AI to create a new version of Microsoft Money.

Thanks, i've used that feature sometimes to update prices when i updated before stock exchange close. 
I also like the canned report, "Price History" for an individual or a group of stocks prices and allowing user selected dates so a graph can be made for as long as the data exists.
