reinstalling USMoneyBizSunset.exe

I've purchased a new Windows 11 laptop and I will get it set up by Best Buy today.  It came directly to my address late last night a Black Friday special.

For MS Money I currently am on version 17.0.120.3817

I backed up my file after doing a Quick File repair and a Standard file repair.  "No broken records in the original file" was reported each time.  After I get money installed at working properly I may do a "Level 3" repair (aka 'Nuke the bills").

I can't seem to find my installer file for USMoneyBizSunset.exe

Can someone tell me whats the most recent installed file and where I can download it?

- maybe best practice on where to install it, etc.

- I have not done this (re-installed it) since 2020

- I doubt I will get any help on this at Best Buy from the Geek Squad, on installing it, they are young people and probably have not even heard of it.

https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/. You will still need the patched  mnyob99.dll, which you could copy from your old computer. https://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2012/12/02/windows-8-64-bit-version-compatibility-with-sunset-money/ also has that.

That patched  mnyob99.dll   file goes into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Money Plus\MNYCoreFiles", which is also where you would find it on the old computer if that was running 64-bit Windows.

Historical note: there was a time when there was a "level 3" repair, but it could occasionally cause a corruption. Also note that level 1 and level 2 do different things-- level 2 is not a superset. Level 1 resets reports and loses customized reports.
