Returning user after 20 year absence.

I'm trying to set up T Rowe Price Account   I have loaded the sites.dat and have

I run the setup.py and get the correct account numbers for 4 funds I own.  All seems well and good till i go to load them into msmoney. 

When i import the fund accounts it will zero out the shares (remove shares) as the transaction.  

I am fairly certain I have seen this issue here before.  I have gone through the posts numerous times to find the solution.  Can't find it and am looking for help before moving on to Fidelity Accts and F2O.

When you get the "Positions Reported on the ...  statement don't match those in your Money account" pop-up,

Always select
"No, do not update my account. I will make any necessary changes myself."

This will prevent the bogus RemoveShares transactions from being generated.  

Set up Money Sunset to keep a lot of backups. If you make a mistake and generate a lot of bogus RemoveShares transactions, you can restore a backup to undo that. Or just delete the unwanted transactions.

I don't think a scrubber could be made to save you from this workaround chore.
