Chrome extension that converts QIF, OFX, QFX, and CSV files and then automatically creates a clean, structured Google Sheet from them.

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/qif-ofx-qfx-to-google-she/feboebajgahlhehdbeceakcneckbgfbn?authuser=0&hl=en

To let the extension create a Google Sheet, you need to sign in with your Google account and check this permission: "See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app." If you accidentally skipped that checkbox, you can sign out of Chrome, restart the browser, and then sign in to the extension again.

This is an example of the work https://youtu.be/q-dPjfymdNE

Not trying to deter activity here, but I'll throw a comment down to get some conversation started.

My reason for staying on MSMoney is that I do not want my financial information aggregated within the cloud, AI, etc; environment we now live in.   Thus, while I applaud ANY efforts to allow continued usage/conversions between these trx file types, the fact that this is on a google sheet, that is readable by google, would deter me from ever using it.     I realize that I'm probably gas lighting myself in thinking that my information isn't already out there, but I'm not going to assist that directionality if I am able to.

I completely agree with you. But it might still be useful for someone. I see the neighboring discussions about an 'MS Money alternative' and the concerns that MS Money may eventually stop being supported.

I agree completely with keeping financial info private, and that means not "in the cloud"!

@albert.   Agreed 100%.  The usefulness will be there for someone and that's why I don't want my comment to dissuade you from the activity.
