Partial Matching HELP NEEDED...SOS!!

I am struggling with this and wondering if you could help..

Worksheet 1 Column A & B
Keyword Category
telecom Telecom
tele com #N/A

Worksheet 2 Column A & B
term category
telecom Telecom
telcom Telecom
tele com Telecom

What I want to do is pull the category name from worksheet 2 on to
worksheet 1.

=VLOOKUP("*"&A2&"*",Sheet1!B:B,1,0)

Is not working...any ideas?

Enter this formula is Sheet 1 =VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A2:B5,2,1)

XXX The assumption is the column starts with A1 in sheet 1 and A in
sheet 2. So that the fomula looks for "telecom" in sheet one and
matches with table array in sheet 2 "Sheet7!A2:B5" and returns what
isin column A2 in Sheet 2. The "1" syntax at the end of the formula
shows the "closest match". Replace this with "0" for exact match.
