MicroProfilers,
During today's community call, the CN4J alliance public mailing list to enable the discussions btw MP and Jakarta EE was discussed.
The recording is not available yet. I highly recommend listening to it once twitted (thank you, John)
- Resolution is required and today went up for a vote (Dec 29th). Everyone is welcomed to vote [microprofile-wg] [BALLOT] [CN4J] Co-Create CN4J mailing list - Vote by Dec 29 (two weeks) using your access to the MPWG forum mailing list.
- If +1, the resolution triggers the the creation of the public mailing list. Anyone interested can participate in the discussions.
- No other commitments were made.
It might be that nothing comes from the CN4J discussions. The 2 projects must protect its Charters.
It might be that there is a light touch that doesn't violate the independence of the projects' structures. It might be that there is synergy, say in marketing msgs and/or similar activities without $$$ burdening the project's budgets or asking for overhead hires.
Anything that takes away the power of this community, as clearly stated in the recording discussion, is nonsense.

The MP video recording is now available. The publishing delay was necessary, we had an unwelcomed intruder during the call. John had to edit the video. Again-- thank you, John💪
