Friday MicroProfilers,

With the help of Ryan, the MP site under the Resources page now has a effective Call-For-Action [CFA] to enable anyone who is or will give a presentation about MP either at a meet-up, JUG, conference…  virtual or in person,  to be prompt submitting via issues about such action.

It is your job to own the issue first to enable your dedication via that session to have the proper MP media blast. :)

Website CFA- submit your session: https://microprofile.io/resources/

Last internal step: https://github.com/eclipse/microprofile-marketing/issues/48  Closing the CFA on fun collaborative step with a weekly tweet scheduled for the rest of 2019.

Until that goes live, any MicroProfiler who might be speaking soon is most welcomed to start submitting their MP talks TODAY.

#walkingTHEtalk means to not be work— #sharingIScaring!

Happy wknd,

Clicking on the "Submit a Marketing Issue" button, takes me to the following page. Is this normal? What's a user expected to do on this landing page? It's not the Issues landing page

Hi Amelia and all,

I tried creating a ticket on the marketing git repository.

I was expecting it to be available on the board, but for that we need to set the project like Amelia has done for me.
I am wondering why this is not open to contributors?

I've been contributing to MP for a while now and trying to spread the word at conferences.
I don't want to create work for others to set labels and set the projects.

The intent as I understand it is to allow the MP Marketing group to be aware of the talks going on.

Thoughts?

JL and all,

I have submitted extra feedback to the INFRA bug about current Git under the EF foundation.

Actions such the ones from this thread bring forth change by providing direct feedback on what currently is and what might need to be.

Cheers,

@Jean-Louis Monteiro I am confused that I can not make an issue on the Project Board.

I was thinking we would like the "submit an issue to marketing" button to a "required information template" if the button leads them to the board I feel they will miss the required info sense it is not shown there.

Hope that made sense...

Ryan
