Hi,
I know we've talked about this in the past, but now that we're getting close with the Jakarta EE Specifications, it's quite clear that organizing our Specifications would be quite useful.

Very soon, our overall Specifications page will be populated with all of the Jakarta EE Specs:  https://jakarta.ee/specifications/

In the mean time, you can reference the Jakarta EE staging area:  https://jakartaee-specifications.netlify.com/specifications/ for an idea on how it will look eventually.

Something like this could be very useful for our prospective developers.  They wouldn't have to hunt through the various projects to find the artifacts.  They could go to this one-stop shop and find the specifications, apis, tcks, and references to the compatible implementations.  And, like we do in Jakarta EE, having these web pages and links automatically generated based on metadata in the projects would be ideal.

Thoughts or ideas?  I really have no web site development experience like this.  I don't think our wiki is sufficient.  I'd like to get something integrated into our microprofile.io site.  Ryan?

Thanks,
Kevin

I think this ties into the discussions over the last few meetings about improving microprofile.io/projects ?

Sure, it does.  It's just now we have something semi-real to look at for ideas...  :-)  And, I didn't want to forget about it while it was fresh in my mind...

Great, thanks Kevin for bringing this up! I added a link to the page design issue https://github.com/microprofile/microprofile-site/issues/87. After the conferences, I would like chair a call to discuss the page further.
Thanks
Emily
