MicroProfile developer discussions and nominations emails such as the above are distributed ONLY via the MicroProfile -dev list. https://accounts.eclipse.org/mailing-list/microprofile-dev  

Usually, such emails never reach the MP general forum.  

We decided:

1. The Community Hangouts will use a minute or 2 for updates on current nominations 
2.  To send this awareness email and enable those of you who want to to subscribe to MP-dev list. 

The MP-Dev forum has currently 110 MicroProfilers, this google forum has +1136 (Aug 6th).  For those of you interested, the average monthly MPdev-emails are from 1 to 5 emails/month~. :)
