Here are the instructions for the Bingo game.

Any attendee that wants to play the Bingo game to redeem a t-shirt or hoodie will have to start at the Eclipse MicroProfile booth. STARTING POINT FOR THE GAME: Eclipse MicroProfile booth.

Bingo game cards will be handed out at the Eclipse MicroProfile booth.

To MicroProfile folks staffing the Eclipse MicroProfile booth:
You will be handing out bingo cards with a single sticker to attendees that would like to play the game. Please ensure that you only attach a single sticker to the bingo card when handing it out to an attendee. I will stop at the Eclipse MicroProfile booth Monday before 10am to hand out the bingo cards and stickers.

To vendors that will be handing out t-shirts and/or hoodies:
We will play the game Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so please ensure to put some t-shirts/hoodies aside for each day. When an attendee comes by your booth, engage them in a MicroProfile conversation and then attach your sticker to their bingo card in the spot allocated to your company. Monday morning, I will walk to each of your booths (Red Hat, Tomitribe, Hazelcast, IBM, and Payara) Monday morning before 10am to hand you the stickers.

IMPORTANT: A player will have to visit all MicroProfile vendor booths and get a unique sticker from each booth.  Once bingo card has 6 different stickers on it, a player can redeem the completed bingo card for a t-shirt or hoodie from any of the participating vendors (not the Eclipse booth).  Please note that every stop in the bingo route has a different kind of sticker.

Thanks,

Cesar,
How do we decide whether to hand out a t-shirt or hoodie?  Up to the recipient?  It seems that a hoodie should be a bit tougher to obtain...  Maybe have them show us something on their device that shows MicroProfile -- web site, git repo, something to force some type of contact with the MicroProfile community.  Maybe it's too late to figure out additional rules.

Very good question, indeed.  Red Hat is offering only hoodies so it's a NOP for us. Vendors offering both can decide what the criteria should be for your booth.  I like your idea of having them show you a MicroProfile-related asset online to you.  I would definitely suggest that you make sure they tell you something about MicroProfile before handing them a hoodie/t-shirt.  Or at least, engage them in a conversation about MicroProfile instead of just handing out t-shirts/hoodies without making sure that they at least have an idea of the benefits of MicroProfile.
