LUFA status on LPC17xx

Hello :-)

Matt, how is the status of LUFA on LPC17xx? -- because I am looking to
build and commercialize a board for the RepRap 3D printer using the
LPC17xx. We need USB<->UART.

We would like to have an USB bootloader on board (but USB bootloader
from factory) however LPC17xx do not have such bootloader. What do you
think is best for users, for updating the firmware/flash a new device?

If we decide to go with LPC17xx, we may go with LPC176x and we will
re-use your KiCad files ;-)

I have been busy with other projects and have not had the time to
continue the LUFA port but the current FreeRTOS+LPCUSB demo showcases
USB Virtual Serial Port communication.
