First need to open the configuration window, you can get to it by
right clicking the tray icon and then choose on the menu: Execution
plan options -> Configure execution plans

As you can see in the image link below - the top right corner of the
configuration window has the key combination that will be used, you
can choose both a key and modifier, where a key in the example below
is F2 and no modifier

Also, I recommend that you use more complex hot key than just F2 -
maybe Ctrl+Shift+F2 since F2 key is used by many other applications
(unless of course if you are an expert user and know exactly what are
the implications).

Please let me know if you need more help.

i already did that but i want the F2 or any other key to paste where
the cursor is at. it doesn't work on any search box on IE, Firefox and
only works on IE address box if you click on it. it works on notepad.
but want it to work like as if you were to right click and paste.

i know it is putting it in the clipboard because after use the key i
can right click and paste all over the place.

maybe there is some command word i need to add to do it.

thanks

When you click your hot key the application does copy the data into the clipboard,

However - there are some security issues in Windows that prevent the paste to work everywhere,

You will have to use Ctrl+V after using F2 or whatever you are using to copy to clipboard,

There is no workaround for this.

The difference from a regular copy and paste is that you can have more
than just one string to choose from before you paste.
