This tool works great on single monitors, but just tried it on dual
monitors (exact monitors) and it only switches resolutions on the main
window???

I hope there is an option somewhere to update all displays. In this
day and age, people are starting to use dual monitors more often.

Could there be an easy patch developped to handle this?

Thanks

Screen Mode Switch does not support multi screen resolution changes,

Older operating systems only allow this kind of functionality using
specific drivers
and not through the Windows API system (unlike in Windows Vista and
Windows 7)

We may consider adding this feature for newer operating systems only
if requested by
a customer who purchased a commercial license for at least 500
workstations or more.

Also, what kind of situation are you dealing with:
1. Do you duplicate the screen ? (same size on both monitors)
2. Do you extend one monitor ? (different size on each monitor)
3. Do you use more than just two monitors ?
4. Would you like to set the same screen resolution on all monitors ?
(or should each monitor be set to a specific screen resolution)

Bummer!. I would also like to switch resolutions in dual monitor mode
(duplicated). It would be very useful when connecting a notebook to a
LCD panel using HDMI. WIth HDMI In 1080 mode Bluray disks look great
but text is too small to read. Would be nice to do a quick resolution
change between using the notebook for movie watching and normal use.
Not that it's that big a deal to switch modes via the control panel
but using an icon in the tray area is qucker and easier for non
technical users.

I've also considered using 2 outputs from my notebook to the LCD
panel. This would use extended mode with the extended monitor used for
HDMI (1080P) for movie watching and the other VGA PC input at around
1024X800 for normal PC use. In this case I would have to switch
between inputs on the LCD panel and of course not all LCD or plasma
panels have PC (vga) inputs.

Please consider for a future update.
