UN Needs Your Help in Responding to Typhoon Ruby!

Dear MicroMappers,

The sun has just risen in the Philippines where Super Typhoon Ruby has now made landfall. 

Our UN partners urgently need our help to quickly assess the damage on the ground and the resulting needs. The mission that the UN has given us is challenging: 

• Identify every Ruby-related tweet and picture posted to Twitter that refers to or shows disaster damage, needs and/or response efforts. 

To complete this mission, we have just launched a MicroMappers deployment for Typhoon Ruby. All the information on how to use MicroMappers to support the UN's relief efforts in the Philippines is available here in this link.

Our UN partners need all the help they can get, which is where we come in.
