So, things are progressing nicely and we're looking forward to a good and fun weekend.

The weather reports have been improving.  What was predicted as a wet Friday and slightly less wet Saturday have turned into a possibility of a bit of rain in the early hours of Saturday and virtually no rain expected from 8 AM through the rest of the weekend.  Temperatures will be mild, again with little to no wind on Saturday and modest cloud cover.

There is a risk of a sunspot eruption but observations have called this new sunspot "strangely quiet" so that also may be good news.

Here's the map and directions to the site:
Just send this to your phone.

We've posted a link to our planning spreadsheet in the Field Day group:
https://groups.google.com/g/microhamsfd  Please join that group to get semi-secure access

If you're interested, you can also take a look at the operations and movement plan there too.

FOOD!  There will be cake!!!
We have a BBQ dinner planned for Saturday night and a Brats and burgers lunch, and you can bring a side dish, or/and what ever you might like to grill.  We've got a costco sheet cake for dessert as well.  Check out the spreadsheet tab for food and meal plan for details and to list what you're going to bring.

We will also have some options for breakfast Sunday. Lunch and Dinner Friday are left to you, as is Breakfast on Saturday.  Someone often brings muffins or doughnuts and we have a table where people can put out snacks to share.

Help needed:
We need help setting up Friday, and we also want people to operate on Saturday.
If you're coming to help on Friday, please don't arrive before 11 AM and ideally come after noon.  Also, it would be helpful to know if you're coming so we can make plans based on available manpower.  If you can text Grant at 425-238-1433, he'll be keeping track.
You can also reply to this email as I've set it up to reply to Scott and Grant and not spam the lists with the replies.

As with every field day since it all started, we're still adjusting what we need.  Please take a look at the planning spreadsheet if you're inclined to help out.

Arrival and Parking
When you arrive, you'll see some signage.  It's important that you stop and check in with the Welcome Table before moving into the site.  Besides the safety and need to not interfere with setup on Friday, we've been advised that there may be some very soft spots where vehicles will get stuck and we want to help you avoid that.

Camping and bringing RVs and trailers
Please let us know ASAP if you plan to bring an RV or trailer.  You can reply to this email and let us know that you'd like to do so (space is a bit limited once we get thing set up.)

We'll have designated tent camping areas (morning sun or evening sun), and we'll have a string trimmer that you can use to knock the grass down even further if you desire.

Feel free to bring guests!
File day is a wonderful opportunity to expose others to the magic of amateur radio.  We can easily arrange an opportunity for guests to get on the radio with an experienced coach and have some great fun.

Please take pictures.
We never seem to have enough pictures of our field day fun so please take pictures of the interesting, fun, or even "boring" stuff and upload/share it to our Onedrive folder:  MH FD 2026 photos
