Hi everybody!  Considering the potential of chats with natural language models and their ease in solving microeconomic exercises, has anyone modified their approach to evaluating practical content or incorporated this technology into your teaching or syllabus? I am particularly thinking of courses where students have access to computers and the internet.

Apologies for my "prolonged absence".
Could this be of any help?
Best.
Somdeb.

Hi Somdeb, Myerson & Zambrano's book is a interesting recommendation but I was expecting to share experiences about the use of LLM models (ChatGPT) in the development of exercises. I realized that the usual practice exercises or evaluations can be developed with precision and full explained through these tools. Then, i think that it is a challenge for the traditional textbooks or syllabus.

Just to clarify, by chats, he is referring to ChatGPT and the students are using it to solve microeconomic exercises, is that what Federico is saying?

I use Mathematica to draw graphs and Scientic Workplace to prepare slides, but that is pretty much it. I know some of my colleagues use Turnitin to check for plagiarism. I have not changed or modified anything.

Best,
Subhadip.

Hi Subhadip:
I must have blanked out for a fortnight.
I responded, but am sure that does not answer the question.
Could you/next-gen help?
Best.
