Some Apps work and some don't

Is there any way to get these working in cheese or camorama and skype?

I have a HUE HD

I couldn't get a screenshot of the webcam with Skype because each time trying to use the webcam with Skype caused it to crash. It didn't do that before today when I updated the driver.
