Hi... I have 0c45:627b webcam.

I make this:

sudo apt-get install git-core gitk git-gui git-doc curl exuberant-
ctags build-essential
git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/microdia.git
cd microdia
make
sudo modprobe videodev
sudo insmod microdia.ko


My dmesg is:

Unfortunatly I'm not familiar with this model.

only mean, that your cam is not equipped with an EEPROM.
It should work anyway.
