Greetings,

Recently the Q&A Network Stack Exchange published a new version of their API, it's StackExchange API 2.1.
In addition to the previous version API 2.0, which included almost all read methods, the new version introduces write methods that allow writing comments to questions and answers.

They seem to be willing to introduce more write methods, methods that allow us to post Questions, Answers, votes... etc, i.e, almost everything.

The question is : Since the network is old, robust, and famous, and the content is under CC-BY-SA. Are we interested in making the Q&A of our network an app for Stack Exchange?

What do you say?

Sorry for being late, as I blogged about this yesterday, it was just and Internet problem that prevented me from mailing this email.

I think it is too early for us to make a decision. We are still focusing on delivering the experience of groups with wiki pages and posts only.

There is another aspect which is the social norms that govern communities and groups. It is not just technical barriers that face posting and sharing content from StackExchange Network.
