Hello, I've been working on running parse_TaxonomyFunction.py based on the IMPACTT workshop protocol (https://github.com/LangilleLab/microbiome_helper/wiki/Metagenomics-(functional-annotation;-IMPACTT-2022)
while I encountered a "list index out of range" error (please refer to the attached file Taxonfunction-41140239.out). I attached my multi-sample-outfiles-w-m8.txt file. I double checked my file names and everything seemed fine.

Hi caizhangbin,
If you generated the "multi-sample-outfiles-w-m8.txt" in a Windows machine and are running the scripts on a unix machine, you could run the dos2unix command on the file, and then try to run the parse_TaxonomyFunction.py script

I am attaching the multisample file where I have already run the dos2unix command. Try using this file and see if it works.

PLease let me know if there are any further issues.

regards,
Dhwani
