Please help
I have run out of space on the microbiome helper virtual computer.

How do I;
1. expand the virtual computer to over 100GB?
2. add virtual external storage?

I have tried to add storage through the oracal virtual box manager but it throws and error when you try to access it from the virtual machine

Failed to open the disk image file D:\Virtualbox\MicrobiomeHelper_v1.1.0\NewVirtualDisk1.vdi.

The medium 'D:\Virtualbox\MicrobiomeHelper_v1.1.0\NewVirtualDisk1.vdi' can't be used as the requested device type.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: MediumWrap
Interface: IMedium {4afe423b-43e0-e9d0-82e8-ceb307940dda}
Callee: IVirtualBox {0169423f-46b4-cde9-91af-1e9d5b6cd945}
Callee RC: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x80BB0001)

I am currently moving files in and out of the virtual machine via the shared folder to gain space, this is slow and annoying.

Anyone else experience this?
Do you just move and delete files?

Thanks for your help

Susan

Hi Susan!

Were you able to expand the virtual computer over 100GB??

Thanks in advance!
