Hello,

I am somewhat of a MicrobeTracker/Matlab novice so maybe this is an obvious question.

I am trying to analyze microscopy images where I have 1 phase image and one fluorescent image (DAPI).

I am able to run the program to identify the cells etc, with both phase and fluo associated.

However, I would then like to be able to extract the fluorescence values (such as mean fluo intensity in each cell) into an excel file for analysis.

When I run for example 'exportcells2xls(cellList), I can only recover values relating to cell dimensions and not the fluorescence.

Any help you can procide with regards to this would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Calum

Hey Calum
If you want fluorescent intensity. You should work on signal 1. after finding the cells, you need to subtract background and set reuse meshes on, compute signal 1 on and run the frame.

To work on fluorescent intensity you need to find the cell before on phase contrast and save the result.

After go matlab and load the last analyse u worked on signal 1. then exportcells2xls(cellList,'test14.xls')

you will see signal 1 result. But it is not mean intensity. It is average intensity so you need to devide it by area.
