Hi,

Is it possible to obtain cell meshes after detecting the cell outlines with an algorithm 1-derived set of parameters (with the getmesh value set to 0 for detection)?

Indeed I can get beautiful and super fast detection of my cells (normal looking E coli + very filamentous ones and minicells) with this parameter set if getmesh is set to 0 - but nothing when getmesh = 1. For some reason an alg 1-derived set works better than an alg4-derived one for our image resolution (0.0454 µm/px) after trying adapting several parameters, this is why I would rather stick with algorithm 1 to obtain the meshes, if possible.

Any suggestion?

If the answer is on the microbeTracker website, please let me know, but I could not find anything that addresses this issue there.

Hi,

You can try to use the function model2mesh for all the cells in your study.  The function is embedded in the main function.

G.luck.

Thanks! That works perfectly.
