Failure to detect particles and median axis

Hi,

I hadn't used MicrobeJ on my Mac in a little while but had updated it yesterday before trying to run particle detection for length x width analysis. It was able to appropriately detect the threshold of all the bacteria in the phase contrast images (the yellow mask) but when running the median axis there are no particles/bacteria detected. Setting the threshold to minimum and running again says the threshold is not found...

Someone on a Mac who recently downloaded FIJI and ImageJ had no issues, and there are no issues on a Windows, so it's just my laptop having the issue it seems.

I have tried removing the plugin and downloading the most recent version of MicrobeJ and it did not resolve the problem. I can try removing FIJI and reinstalling but am wondering if there are other ideas or thoughts on what this problem may be.
