I have been able to segment cells in a frame. But I would like to segment multiple frames of the time lapse while i maintain the same ID of the cell.

Hi,

To track the cells you must use the tracking option (the small clock). Once tracked the cells are organized under Trajectories with a common ID.

Let me know if you have any question,

Hello, to follow up on a similar question:

I would like to maintain the ID/dimensions of the same cells across a time-lapse. It seems like the beginning frame the cells can be identified, but as time goes on, the distribution of fluorescence changes. This then confuses cell boundaries in the bacterial detection. I do not have another channel for reference unfortunately.

Would there be any way I can preserve the coordinates from the beginning frame and copy them to the following frame(s) for further analysis?

Hi MicrobeJ et al.,
Unfortunately, I have the same issue. Is there a solution for this question?

Best regards,
Terrens
