Hello,

First off, your live website is absolutely fantastic and so far the most useful resource I've come across for explaining microbial ecology work!

In the section RDA> Pre-analysis > step 3: it is recommended to standardize your explanatory data if they are not dimensionally homogeneous.
I've looked up this topic in the past and it seems that doing so depends on the method of your analysis. As Jari Oksanen explains (https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-sig-ecology/2010-April/001196.html) this is not necessary in vegan. Might be worth updating to clarify that portion.

Many thanks for the feedback and the link! Would you know of any work that supports Oksanen's assertion about the QR method? If you would like to write about this yourself and have your input added to GUSTA ME, we'd be happy to micro-credit your contribution using an ORCID or similar unique identifier. We'd really like to see more guest contributors and editors on the site!
