HPToolsLauncher.exe taking over 50% CPU to run tests

Hi, I am using Micro Focus Application Automation Tools 5.8 version plugin. I am seeing high CPU usage with HPToolsLauncher process. is there any thing i can do it minimize CPU utilization?

Also, what version of the plugin are you using and what job step are you executing?

As far as I see from your screenshot you are running a Load Runner type of test. I was not able to reproduce this issue while running UFT tests.

Hello Daniel, Thanks for responding.

I am using 5.8 version of plugin. This issue happens with test execution step where LoadRunner controller runs the test for 1 hour (during my tests).

I have started using this plugin recently not sure this issue exists in previous versions or not.
