AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services has several upcoming events and programs for older adults and family caregivers. Dementia Live is a dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change. 

  • Improves outcomes for staff, care receivers, and families. 
  • Effective training that supports business goals. 
  • Experiential training that builds a foundation for high retention.

Bingosize is a fun, twice-weekly program combines light exercise, health tips, and the classic game of Bingo to help older adults and people with disabilities stay active and connected. It’s a great way to move more, meet others, and boost overall well-being. 

  • Enjoy light physical activity in a fun, low-pressure setting 
  • Learn health tips that support aging well 
  • Stay social and engaged through interactive games

Matter of Balance is a 8-week workshop that helps older adults reduce their fear of falling and increase physical activity. Topics include assertiveness, recognizing fall-related habits, and reducing hazards in the home and environment. Balance and flexibility exercises are also included.  

  • Learn strategies to build confidence and reduce fall risk 
  • Recognize and change habits that contribute to falls 
  • Practice balance and flexibility exercises
