Medicare Open Enrollment is underway, and now is the time beneficiaries can make changes to their plans for 2026! The MI Options Medicare Assistance Program (formerly the Michigan Medicare Assistance Program) provides free, unbiased help to evaluate Medicare options.
During Open Enrollment (October 15 – December 7), beneficiaries can:
- Enroll in or switch Medicare Part D prescription drug plans
- Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan, or vice versa
- Change Medicare Advantage plans
📅 We are hosting Open Enrollment Assistance Events at libraries, senior centers, and other venues throughout our six-county region where beneficiaries can meet one-on-one with one of our trained and unbiased counselors. Please share the attached calendar with anyone you know who might benefit. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 248-262-0545. We also offer phone and online appointments. See the attached schedule for details.
