Hello MSU Extension friends — welcome to April!

Did you know that April is nationally recognized as Financial Literacy Month?

MSU Extension is proud to support this important awareness initiative. We are especially excited to share that we have partnered with Macomb Community Action to host “Show Me The Money Day” on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert VerKuilen Building on Dunham Road in Clinton Township. 

This free community event will feature local vendors, financial education sessions, and opportunities for residents to connect with helpful resources — all designed to support financial empowerment and stability. See page 12 in the program guide for the event flyer.

• April 7 – RELAX: Alternatives to Anger (Macomb Township)
• April 9 – Fisheries Workshop (Clinton Township)
